03/22/2015 - College PREP - Oklahoma City, OK Eugene is a sophomore short stop that showed consistent actions offensively and defensively in his first workout with Baseball Factory. Offensively, he displayed quick hands to get the barrel down to contact on a direct path and stayed loose through the baseball for extension. He generated flashes of excellent bat speed, hit the ball to all fields, and kept a quiet head for strong barrel accuracy. Greater use of his lower half, in coordination with his hands, will take his offensive game to the next level. At SS, he made plays, showing good ability to his glove side, and threw with a good arm stroke. He will benefit by working lower in his fielding position, and continuing his momentum to throw. In all - Kahbeah is a young player with promising tools for the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
