08/04/2016 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training & Tournament at Historic Dodgertown Eugone is a young two-way prospect whose versatility is a big advantage on the field. He attacks hitters on the mound pounding the zone with good command of his fastball and curveball. At short, this prospect takes efficient angles to the ball with fluid footwork that leads to good range. He has an athletic fielding position, presenting his hands out front and has a quick exchange to throw accurately to his target. At the plate, Eugone sets up in an atheltic stance and has a short, square stride to the ball. He is smooth and fluid getting into his load and comes through the zone well with his lower half. He stays on plane with his swing which leads to good contact. On the mound, Eugone's delivery is simple and repeatable and he works with good tempo on the mound. His lower half is strong, driving towards the plate with a good front side that stays directional to the hitter. Extending through his release will add velocity and movement to his pitches. Eugone is a solid, young player with good upside on the diamond.

05/08/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Tampa, FL Eugone is a young RHH SS. Defensively at SS, he shows active footwork and moves fluidly from right to left around the GB. He has plus lateral range, gathers well and fires accurate throws across the diamond. With the bat, this righty displays a square setup with centered balance. He tracks pitches into the zone, whips the barrel with quick hands and engages his lower 1/2 well. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Infield
1. Quicker exchange
2. Arm strength (long toss)
3. Play through ball
Offense
1. Load
2. Contact points
3. More extension on finish

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
