08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Evan is a solid, 1st baseman who will graduate in 2025. Defensively, Evan has an aggressive approach through playable hands and feet. He can pick the ball out of the dirt, he shows a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Evan has a square stance and good balance. He tracks the ball well, swings in good rhythm, and makes level contact to all fields. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
