06/17/2017 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Evan is a hardworking OF/RHP prospect who has a projectable build and graduates in 2019. As a right-handed hitter, Evan has an open stance with a centered balance. He has fluid rhythm with a good load and an on-time, square stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Evan shows fast bat speed with an on-plane swing path producing consistent contact. He has good plate discipline and the talent to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Evan works to stay behind the baseball and takes the correct angles to field the ball in a square position. Evan has a clean exchange leading into a long arm action throwing from an over the top slot. He plays through the baseball and his throws are consistent. On the mound, Evan has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He keeps his eyes on his target and stays square to home plate with a long stride. He effectively uses his front side and finishes ready to field his position. Overall, Evan has a good approach on both sides of the ball and the potential to get even better with development.

05/28/2017 - College PREP - Keizer (Salem), OR Evan is an athletic built OF/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set and graduates in 2019. As a right-handed hitter, Evan has an open stance with a centered balance and effective pre-pitch actions. He has smooth rhythm with a good load. Evan shows a direct swing path that produces square contact. He has a good approach and is a line drive hitter. In the outfield, Evan gets a good jump on the baseball and takes the correct angles to stay behind it. He fields it squarely with a firm glove and has a clean exchange. Evan has a loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot and he is developing arm strength. On the mound, Evan has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He has a good leg kick and engages his hips nicely as he maintains a steady head. Evan stays square to home plate and has a controlled landing. He features a full arsenal with a fastball, curveball, and changeup. Overall, Evan has the right approach the game and good upside to develop his game to the next level.
