06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament Everett continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities at the All-State event. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering ball out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.28 with accuracy / carry (80 mph velocity) on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential are now solid through a crouched setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Everett continues to shine in his baseball abilities at the Pre-Season All American event. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times showed in 2.39 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

11/11/2021 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona Everett is a class of 2025 C/3B prospect who showcased his skills at the Baseball Factory Select Training and Competition. At C, he has an athletic and relaxed setup with quiet hands that work well. He works his thumb under baseball and works with good direction towards 2nd base. Everett has a clean/quick transfer with 3/4 release point and an arm velocity up to 72mph and his best pop time a 2.31 seconds. Everett is a vocal kid who communicates well with his pitching staff. At the plate, he hits from a tall and athletic stance with a comfortable hand set. He showed a simple but effective load and made consistent hard contact. Showed ability to hit the ball to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph. During the games, he reached base 3 times with a double and 2 singles. Natural leader who rallied the team all weekend. With 4 years before graduation, we expect for Everett to continue to develop and mature as a player.

07/12/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Everett a C/3B who will graduate in 2025. Athletic build, with strong lower, and strength present and room to add more strength. At C, efficient footwork and presents a low target. Works around ball with good direction towards second base. Showed a short arm action, with accurate/online throws, from a 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity of 73mph and a best pop time of 2.46 seconds. This 3B, he showed a good prep step and efficient footwork at time. He takes aggressive fielding angles as he tries to center ball. Works through ball and does a good job with his BH footwork/glove angle. A left-handed hitter, hits from an upright and athletic stance. Good rear hip load as he gets his backside through to contact. Showed good extension with the ability to spray balls to all fields. Simple/repeatable swing. Good contact hitter who recorded a bat exit velocity of 67mph during his BP round. With continued growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball field.

09/09/2018 - Interactive Video Program - La Verne (Los Angeles), CA Everett is a young, 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Everett has efficient footwork to the ball, he tracks into his glove properly, and fields in a square position. He picks the ball cleanly and throws with good direction across the diamond. On the mound, Everett has a clean arm circle, he separates on time, and repeats his delivery well. Offensively, Everett has a crouched stance, he loads well, and stays behind the ball properly. He has a still head, a level swing, and he puts the bat on the ball consistently. Everett can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
