06/14/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Harris continues to impress. A speedy 6.53 runner - he can make things happen. At the plate, this righty has centered balance with simple/fluid actions. Hands are quick as he whips the barrel to and through the zone and connects with power. The ball explodes off of his barrel (exit velocity = 90 mph). He scoots out of the box and down the line quickly - putting pressure on the defense. Defensively - he has plus lateral range, maintains smooth action and has a quick/clean exchange. A true talent - Everrett is fun to watch when he steps between the white lines.

11/07/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Everrett is one of the hardest working young men we have seen and it continues to pay off in the strides he is making on the diamond. He has turned himself into a quality IF prospect and performed well at the UA Futures event in Dallas. He has spread his stance a bit at the plate and still maintained his rhythm allowing him to spray line drives throughout BP from a balanced stance. He finds the barrel consistently and has good natural feel to hit. As a defender he has great life in his body and a quick first step. He fields low and is a confident fielder with sure hands. His versatility allows him to play both 3B and 2B well - with enough arm to stay on the left side. As Everrett continues to translate his abilities into game settings his profile will continue to increase.

06/19/2015 - USA Baseball 17U Championships Everrett continues to show growth and consistency in his game from outing to outing with Baseball Factory. Offensively, he was a confident hitter with good presence in the box. He was direct with his barrel delivery to contact and was aggressive to attack balls in the zone. He was fluid with his hitting actions and extended through the baseball at contact. Defensively, he made plays with a soft glove and efficient footwork. He got his body into position, working around the baseball and threw with good arm action. He worked to get rid of the baseball quicker while maintaining the same quality arm action and exchange. Overall - Everrett is a great teammate and a great kid to be around, as he works hard continuously and is able to make adjustments quickly.

01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Everrett, as only a sophomore, fit right in with his ability at the Under Armour Baseball Factory Pre-Season All America Tournament. In the field, he had smooth overall actions that allowed him to make plays with a soft/sure glove and threw with an easy/clean arm stroke. At the plate, he constantly pressured the defense by putting the ball in play and using all fields with his compact swing. He was direct with his hands and used his lower half to help boost pop. In all - Everrett continues to show his ability to play the game at a high level, with a lot of success.

10/01/2014 - Arizona Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic Everrett competed very well at the AZ Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic with Baseball Factory. Offensively, he got to an activated hitting position with his hands loaded and delivered the barrel on a direct path to contact. He showed good eye hand coordination and stayed on the CB with 2-strikes. He pressured the defense in his AB's only striking out one time. Defensively, he worked with ready hands and had very athletic actions to field. He was quick twitched and had good body control to make and finish plays. Adding foot speed and quickness will enable him to play either infield or outfield at the next level. All in all - Everrett is an outstanding young man that listens and works hard to improve his game.

07/14/2014 - College PREP - Carrollton (DFW), TX Everett is a hard worker who makes things happen on the diamond. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and works into position behind the fly-ball. He fields the ball cleanly, gathers well, and works in-line toward his target. At SS, Everett shows plus range to his glove side as he gets into and athletic fielding position. He funnels well and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this RHH shows good separation as he gets back into a loaded position. Swing path is short/direct/level as he drives the ball. A young 2017 grad - Harris is an impact type player.

11/17/2012 - Interactive Video Program - Houston, TX Everett is a thick, 2-way player who plays SS and OF. In the INF, Everett has soft hands, active feet and he fields in a low / athletic position. He takes good angles to the ball, and throws with accuracy and carry to his target. In the OF, Everett has fluid feet, he works behind the ball well and he throws with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Everett has a tall set-up, a short stride and fast bat speed. He makes hard contact, he can work the ball gap-to-gap and he gets his lower 1/2 through. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Infield
1. Avoid glove flip
2. Quicken DP turn
Outfield
1. Earlier glove
2. Long toss
Offense
1. Shorten swing
2. Level off swing

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
