11/03/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Fabian is a corner infielder who can swing it. At the plate, he has a strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, crushing the ball to all parts of the field. Hands are quick, generating plus bat speed (87 mph exit velocity) through an aggressive swing path. At 1B, he has plus lateral range (7.01 60 time), working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (82 mph velocity) across the diamond. With 2 years to further develop, Fabian will play at a very high level and make an immediate impact.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
