11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory's Fall Classic Tournament at Pirate City Felipe is a coachable 1B prospect who made adjustments well during the Fall Classic at Pirate City. In the field, Felipe makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Felipe improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets his hands activated well and works to barrel up the baseball. Felipe can improve as a hitter by getting his stride foot down sooner. Overall, Felipe is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

08/09/2019 - Baseball Factory Advanced Analytics & Pro Training Experience (Ages 14-18) Felipe is a coachable 1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Analytics Training Weekend. Felipe gives great effort during athletic testing and ran his 60 in 8.28 seconds. Increasing his stamina can help Felipe improve athletically. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and barrels the baseball well. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Felipe improve as a hitter. In the field, Felipe makes the routine plays and works to make accurate throws to his target. Taking a more efficient first step can help Felipe improve defensively. Overall, Felipe is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
