06/25/2016 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Finn is a true student of the game, and will work hard to improve in any way possible. In the outfield, he shows proper mechanics fielding ground balls, using the correct footwork and fielding the ball out in front. Finn also flashes an accurate arm, making on line throws to home plate. Finn could benefit greatly from long tossing and using more momentum towards home plate to strengthen his already accurate arm. As a hitter, his setup shows good balance, followed by a soft stride which keeps his head still through his swing, creating consistently good contact. He works the count and sees a lot of pitches. On the mound, Finn has a clean delivery, gathering over the rubber, and working directionally towards the plate, which makes him a consistent strike thrower that loves to pound the zone with his fastball that shows good movement. He works quickly and doesn't give hitters much time to settle in. More lower 1/2 drive off of the rubber along with more extension on his follow through will help to improve skills on the mound. A hard working two way player, Finn shows great upside with still a ton of time to develop.
