Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 1B/RHPPosition Projection

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (MS) Fisher is a coachable 1B/RHP in the class of 2028 out of White Sulphur Springs, MT. At 1B, he did a good job of making the routine plays. He adjusted well to different throws and made clean accurate feeds to his target. At the plate, he had a tall stance with a short stride. He could benefit from striding more in line to the pitcher to help stay on the baseball with his front side. He works the ball to all fields in his approach. On the hill, he does a good job of gathering over the rubber and pitches with a loose arm action while finishing over his front knee. He competes on the hill and makes adjustments when needed. With 3+ years of progression, Fisher has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/13/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Billings, MT Fisher is a RHP/1B prospect who will graduate in 2029. On the mound, Fisher gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He follows through well, finishing with his chest over his front knee. Fisher operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 57mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 52-54mph. Changeup sits from 47-50mph. Striding square toward the plate can help Fisher improve his pitch command. In the field, Fisher shows fluid footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he makes consistent throws to his target. Fisher can make more backhand plays by getting his glove down sooner. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a closed stance and takes his stride on time. He works through a direct swing and produces consistent contact. Driving his lower half more can help Fisher generate more pop off the barrel. With eight more years to develop, Fisher has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
