06/01/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National West Fisher is an athletic SS prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Fisher shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a plus swing from each side. He sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension through the ball, leading to loud contact and gap to gap power. Overall, Fisher is a talented prospect who shows the skill set to contribute at the next level.

10/06/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures West Fisher is an athletic SS prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the field, Fisher shows efficient footwork and centers the ball in the middle of his body. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing form both sides. He sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed which leads to consistent contact and line drives into the gaps. Overall, Fisher is a talented prospect who should find success in this, his junior season.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Fisher is a jack of all trades SS/RHP in the 2020 grad class. An athletic SS, he stay active, has a quick first step allowing him to range well and has a very good feel for the nuances of the position. Has an above average arm across the diamond and can make throws from different arm slots allowing his range to work effectively. Has a nice athletic setup at the plate, has a good middle-away approach, lightning fast hands allow him to handle pitches across the entire zone and can drive the ball to all fields. As a two way player, Fisher gives some value on the mound. Clean mechanics and plus athleticism for a RHP allows him to manage the game and work with a very good pace. Fastball registers in the upper 70s (77-79mph) with very good command of the pitch. Commands both his CB and SL very well with good movement on both and throws them effectively. His Curveball ranges from 64-66 mph and his Slider 67-69 with a slightly different shape to keep hitters off balance. Finished his arsenal with a Changeup ranging from 68-72 with nice sinking movement but will continue to develop that pitch.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
