12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Garrett is a hardworking, very coachable player who makes adjustments to be the best player he can be with a promising future on the diamond. He is a team player who plays with high energy. At the plate is where he shows best through an open / athletic setup. He works on time and uses his lower half well through a short / direct swing path. Hands work inside the ball as he utilizes all fields with strength in his swing, displaying gap to gap pop. Hitting numbers will increase as he works to get stride foot down sooner to work on time. In the OF, he is a smooth / fluid fielder with hands / feet working well together through the fielding process as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls through an aggressive approach. On the mound, arm strength is solid as indicated by his top velocity of 84 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break and shows potential as being a quality pitch. He works fast and pounds the zone as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Garrett has potential and will get looks with his baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.
