09/25/2016 - College PREP - Indianapolis, IN Garrison is a tall, strong built 1B prospect with good upside. In the field, he plays with effective footwork around the bag and stays square fielding the baseball. He is working to soften his glove receiving, but does a nice job working around the baseball with a clean exchange. Garrison throws with a short, quick arm action from a high 3/4 slot producing accurate consistent results. Offensively, Garrison has an open stance and takes a square stride with a good load. He stays balanced with smooth rhythm and shows power to the pull side. Garrison is a projectable prospect who has the ability to impact a program at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
