10/27/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Corpus Christi, TX George is a young, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and RHP. Defensively, George has soft/presentable hands, a low/square fielding position, and he centers the ball well on his body. He makes plays, his a clean exchange, and can throw from multiple arm slots across the diamond. On the mound, George has good balance over the rubber and a clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, lands with good direction toward home, and he finishes in a complete position. At the plate, George has a tall/square stance, he takes a good stride toward the pitcher, and he gets good extension. He has a consistent/direct barrel and can spray the ball to all fields. Overall skills can get better with work on the following.

1. Footwork
2. Release
3. Aggressiveness

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
