Mannino continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities with a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He will benefit by getting behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

Giovanni is a talented, young (2020 grad) 2-way player as an OF/2B. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and is aggressive to track down fly-balls. He works into position behind the ball, secures it with 2-hands and has a clean exchange to throw. At 2B, he works around the GB smoothly and into a square/athletic fielding position. He works low from the ground-up and gathers well. As a hitter - Giovanni has a square setup with rhythm to load. He takes an aggressive hack on a level path and connects with pop, using the whole field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.
1. Arm strength (long toss)
2. Footwork to GB
3. Play through ball
1. Transfer/exchange on DP
2. Lateral quickness
1. More lower 1/2 drive
2. Bat speed
3. Contact points
