01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Glen is a 2024 1B prospect who showcased his skills at the Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American Tournament. At 1B, plays with great energy as he works to center the baseball and keeps the ball in front of him. He fields from a square fielding position with a low funnel. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 79mph. A right-handed hitter, he hits from a tall and open stance. Starts with smooth timing, with quick hands, and showed natural strength in swing. Showed a direct hand path with a fast barrel through the hitting zone. Gets on-plane early as he made consistent contact into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 92mph. In live game action, he drew a base on balls while showing good plate discipline. Glen solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field with further development.

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Glen showed good athleticism at 1B and on the mound at Pirate City. Defensively, Glen has active feet, he moves athletically to the ball, and he keeps it in front of his body. He makes plays consistently, flashes a good backhand, and throws accurately to his target. On the mound, Glen has a good mound presence and is aggressive in the zone. He throws strikes, lands with a proper length stride toward home, and his CB showed a solid upside. At the plate, Glen has a good upside, a level swing, and solid bat whip. He makes level/hard contact, he has pop in his bat, and shows good hustle on the bases.

10/06/2021 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Glen is a physical 1B/RHP. Defensively, he showed active feet with good range and solid fundamentals fielding the ground ball by getting the glove out in front. Offensively, he uses a slightly open stance with controlled timing to get on plane and make consistent contact using all fields. On the mound, he displays good poise with the ability to throw strikes. We believe a long toss/strength training program could benefit Glen's arm development to increase velocity. Glen is going to be a force with a few more years of development.

09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Glen continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, power potential has improved, now showing outstanding potential through a balanced setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. At 1B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 69-71 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

03/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lawrenceville (Atlanta), GA Glen is a 2024 1B/RHP. Tall frame athletic build with long levers with plenty of room to fill out as he develops. Primary first baseman who does a good job of keeping balls in front of him. Glove works well scooping balls at 1st. Big target who showed good bag awareness. Clean transfers and online throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Secondary right-handed pitcher starts with a high leg kick that allows him to stay tall on backside. Works down the mound with great tempo and rhythm. Ability to throw FB for strikes consistently. Glen mixes in a 10/4 shaped curveball with some bite as it crosses the strike zone. Developing changeup with some tailing action. Right-handed hitter uses an upright and open stance. Quiet head/eyes allow him to track balls well. Quickness to hands with fast barrel and a bat exit velocity of 84mph. Rotates well with a level swing that generates hard contact pull side. 4 years of continued growth and development will bode well for his career at the next level.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 [HOTEL] Glen is a tall 1B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. In the field, Glen makes the routine plays and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Glen field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance with comfortable hands. He is controlled getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He rotates his core through the zone and gets good extension through the ball, driving the ball to his pull side. Glen can barrel up more baseballs by taking a square stride toward the pitcher. On the mound, Glen gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He says inline toward the plate and finishes with a controlled landing. Extending through is release can help Glen improve his pitch command. Overall, Glen is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
