11/11/2018 - College PREP - Davie, FL Gracin is an athletic 3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the field, Gracin shows efficient footwork and flashes good range to his glove side. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange to throw, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Gracin improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He shows a fluid rhythm and hits from a strong front side. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid line drives. Taking a level swing path can help Gracin improve as a hitter. With four more years to develop, Gracin has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

01/21/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Delray Beach, FL Gracin is a lean, athletic 2nd baseman with good skills. Defensively, Gracin has efficient footwork, he shows good range, and fields athletically. He presents his glove well, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy from a loose/quick arm action. Offensively, Gracin has an athletic set-up, he swings in good rhythm, and stands in well balanced. He has good barrel accuracy, a complete finish, and can spray the ball to all fields. Gracin can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
