01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Core continues to shine on the diamond and did so again during his time in Arizona. With the bat, this righty shows fluid rhythm to load getting good hand separation. He fires the barrel quickly and connects with strength, squaring the ball up and driving it with power. At 3B, Graham has smooth actions and works from right to left through the GB. Hands are soft and exchange is quick as he has the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Graham is a well-rounded athlete who has a very bright future ahead of him in the game.

10/12/2016 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Graham is a competitive 2B/3B prospect who has talent on both sides of the ball. In the infield, Graham plays with fluid and active footwork giving him the ability to cover good ground. He fields the ball athletically as he presents his glove. Graham has a loose arm action throwing from a low 3/4 arm slot. His throws are accurate with good velocity. Offensively, Graham has an open stance with a square stride. He does a nice job using his lower half throughout his swing and maintains balance. Graham stays inside the baseball with solid hands. He has good discipline at the plate and a solid approach to spray the ball to all fields. Graham is a scrappy ball player with the talent to play at the next level.

10/09/2016 - College PREP - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Graham continues to show a promising future on the diamond. In the MIF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity of 82 mph. At the plate, he shows a squared / athletic setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Barrel accuracy is a plus with the baseball exploding off the bat when centered.

06/12/2016 - College PREP - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Graham is a lean, athletic, 2B who has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 60 time of 7.38. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level / aggressive swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and works to stay inside the ball, flashing gap to gap pop. He has strength in his swing with the baseball exploding off the bat when centered. At 2B, defensive abilities are well above average, displaying smooth, fluid actions. He moves well laterally displaying range and shows a solid backhand. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Glove action is soft / sure as he presents well out front. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy on his throws. Graham has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
