  • RHP/OFPosition Projection

05/29/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Minneapolis, MN Graham is a RHP/OF prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. On the mound, Graham keeps his eyes on target and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Graham operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 73mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 61-63mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 65-67mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Graham shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a direct swing and drives the ball to his pull side. Overall, Graham is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/20/2021 - All-In Membership - Minneapolis, MN Graham is a RHP/OF prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Graham gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Graham operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 65mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 54-56mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 57-58mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Driving his lower half more can help Graham increase his pitch velocity. In the OF, Graham shows active footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he works to make accurate throws to his target. Graham can build up his arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He gets good extension through the ball and produces solid contact. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Graham create more consistent contact. Overall, Graham is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
