06/05/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Grayson is a tall OF/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2020. On the mound, Grayson gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Grayson shows a plus four pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 90mph. Curveball sits from 68-71mph with late 11-5 break. Slider sits from 75-78mph with 10-4 movement. Changeup sits from 77-81mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a good swing from both sides. He sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and flashes good pull side power. Overall, Grayson is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his senior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
