05/28/2011 - College PREP - Salt Lake City, UT Greyson is a lanky, athletic two-way player in the OF plus at 2B that will graduate in 2012. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 6.99 60 time. Currently, he projects better in the OF for the next level. Feet are active and aggressive as he reads balls well off the bat and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls in the OF. He works to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly through proper footwork. Throws display life, accuracy, and on line carry into his target. At 2B, glove action is soft, clean, and sure but needs to be more aggressive in attacking ground balls and playing through with his body. He moves well laterally, displaying range in the MIF. Offensively, Bogden continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, displaying plus bat speed to and through the ball at contact. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball exploding off when centered. Power is best to the pull side due to a long swing path as he needs to work to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. Greyson has a lot of potential with the makings to be a solid collegiate player and will get looks from the college coaches.
