10/19/2022 - Arizona Easton Fall Classic - Under Class (2025-2026) Griffin is a coachable 3B/RHP prospect who showed well during the Arizona Easton Fall Classic. In the field, Griffin gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a centered stride. He gets his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a level swing and drives the ball to the opposite field. On the mound, Griffin gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Griffin operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits at 63mph with sharp 11-5 break. Overall, Griffin is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
