11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14)
Gunner continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 3.20 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a solid setup and presents a low target. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a solid team player.
