06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (MS) Hardelin is a 2029 LHH SS prospect that recently showcased his skills at the All-State Tournament in Mississippi. He improved on his 60 yard dash time, lowering it to 8.78 seconds. At short, he gets in an athletic fielding position and shows off smooth footwork. He gets a good first step and shows off range to all angles. He gets in a low, athletic fielding position and presents soft hands out in front when fielding. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly. He improved on his raw velo, recording a throw at 60 MPH. He made consistent, accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, he starts in an athletic stance and has comfortable hands with a small load and controlled stride. He really battles at the plate, doing a good job of staying inside the baseball. He shows off impressive barrel control and fluid rhythm with an involved lower half. He recorded a max exit velo of 60 MPH. In game action, he reached base twice in 6 plate appearances with a single and a walk. A good communicator on the field that works hard, Hardelin should continue to develop his skills and impress on the diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
