09/22/2019 - College PREP - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Harrison continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.28 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and receives the ball well. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. At the plate, hitting abilities have improved through a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball and shows a feel for the barrel through a solid line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

12/20/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Harrison is a hard working 2022 C/3B prospect. Behind the dish, Harrison presents a low target; he consistently blocks the ball, and shows good footwork to the bases. Working behind the ball and having soft hands will make him a quiet receiver. Continuing to have a clean drop step on throws to third will help him to be more accurate. At the plate, Harrison has an athletic set up, and creates rhythm in his swing. He tracks the ball well, and makes hard contact. Attacking the inside part of the ball and keeping a middle approach will allow Harrison to hit more line drive to all fields. Harrison made great in game adjustments and applied his drill work to the games. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/24/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Harrison is a C/3B with an athletic build. Defensively behind the plate, he sits athletically with quick footwork/actions. He quietly receives pitches and comes up with a quick exchange to throw. At 3B, he takes quick cuts/angles to his glove side. He fields slow rollers clean and fires throws with a quick release. With the stick, Harrison hits from both sides of the plate with smooth rhythm. He whips his barrel on a direct path fast through the zone and drives pitches with power from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Infield
1. Develop soft hands
2. Smooth backhand
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Catching
1. Lateral range
2. Stick pitches
3. Quicker to block
Offense
1. Lower 1/2 drive
2. Extension
3. Contact points

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
