09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament Harrison showed very well on the diamond during the All-Region Tournament. Behind the dish, he sits in well with athletic actions and flexion, tracking pitches into a soft mitt. He is quick to his feet to throw and has a quick exchange and puts throws on the bag - pop times now at 2.20. Offensively, this righty shows an athletic stance with smooth rhythm to load. He takes an aggressive hack, squares the ball up and hits line-drives from gap-to-gap. Tesio is a skilled athlete who has a ton of upside and is one to keep an eye on.

10/06/2019 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Grapevine (DFW), TX Harrison is a C/OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. Behind the plate, Harrison shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He sits in a low stance and presents a good target to the pitcher. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to the 2B bag. In the OF, Harrison shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and leads well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed, leading to square contact to all fields. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
