06/16/2011 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 1 Bennett showed as a two-way player at the event in the IF and on the mound. Currently, he projects best in the IF where he has improved his defensive abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a solid 7.30 runner. Hands are feet are excellent, working well together through the fielding process. He gets rid of the ball quickly, getting in a strong throwing position with accuracy on his throws. He will benefit by getting on a long toss program to aid in building more arm strength and carry. He shows a solid feel for his position and is an outstanding defensive player. Offensively, Harry shows a solid setup and approach. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He needs to work being on time with his load and stride foot. Lower half works well, showing balance but needs to work on better pitch selection and work to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 73-76 with slight tail. Breaking ball is average, needing further development to be a quality pitch at the next level. He throws strikes with all his pitches with stock on the mound rising if more arm strength is developed.
