05/28/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Harry has extremely loud tools and showed the ability to use them in game situations at the BF South Showcase. He has a strong frame at 5'10", 200 pounds that is durable enough for the catching position and he was as low as 1.88 on throws to 2B in the workout. He also ran a 6.69 in the 60 and showed quick hands and pull power in batting practice (96 mph exit velocity). Harry battled in his live at bats as well finding the barrel for hard line drive contact on a few occasions. Overall, this is a very exciting prospect at a premium position who keeps getting better each time we see him.

10/26/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures South Harry is a pure catch and throw backstop who also will make an impact with the bat. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm (88mph velocity) with impressive pop times of 1.87. Offensively, he continues to shine with pro level hitting/power potential through an athletic setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel explosion (96 mph exit velocity) with the ball screaming off of his barrel. With 2 years to further develop, Harry has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

06/05/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Harrison showed as a catcher and he has the makings of a special type player at the next level. Pop times showed in the 1.85 range with on line carry and accuracy to his throws. Receiving/blocking skills are outstanding as he shows off his athletic abilities. At the plate, he continues to shine. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Barrel is whipped through the zone as he connects through a line drive path. A talented prospect - he will make things happen both behind the dish as well as with the bat.

03/04/2018 - College PREP - Chattanooga, TN Harrison is a pure catch and throw backstop who also will make an impact with the bat. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm (99 mph) with impressive pop times of 1.87. Offensively, he shows an open/athletic setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage with power showing best to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, Harrison has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
