12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Henderson is a lean OF/RHP who will graduate in 2026. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work to get behind balls to play through well with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball showed a range of 62-64 mph with arm side run. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, plays hard, and is very coachable. With 6 years to further develop, Henderson has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
