07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Henry is an athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 1B. On the mound, Henry has a clean arm circle, he keeps his eyes on target, and gets good extension on his pitches. He uses his lower body, lands in a square position, and competes in the zone. Work on his balance point and lengthening his arm action can help mound effectiveness improve. At 1B, Henry has active feet, presentable hands, and he fields in a square position. He has a clean exchange and throws with consistency and accuracy to his target. If Henry can play lower and soften his glove, defensive skills can get better. At the plate, Henry has a square set-up, he loads well, and swings in some rhythm. He has fast bat speed and makes square contact through the hitting zone. Hitting can spike if Henry can shorten his swing and let the ball travel deeper into the hitting zone.
