01/13/2023 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Jackie Robinson Training Complex (MS) Henry Hoffman is a 2028 SS/RHP prospect. In the field, he features an accurate arm with quick actions and a raw velo of 61. He can throw from multiple angles and exhibits a clean exchange. At the plate, his setup is squared with high hands. He has a fluid rhythm and hands are short to the ball. He is a very consistent, line-drive hitter. On the mound, Henry exhibits good tempo and composure. He throws from a 3/4 angle and gets good on-time separation with good tempo. Showcases a good feel for his off-speed stuff, with a 10-4 curveball with gradual break. Looking to see him grow and get stronger.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
