01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Hunter is a talented/athletic (5’10”/185) two-way prospect (SS/RHP) in the class of 2022 who plays the game with a lot of energy. At SS, he shows good range making plays in the hole. He has good glove work and smooth hands as he presents his glove out in front making the routine plays with ease. He creates accurate/consistent throws from across the diamond from a short arm action. At the plate, this righty has a balanced/square stride with a smooth rhythm and active load. He has a firm front leg through stride foot landing and creates hard/consistent line-drive contact. Quick hands allow the ball to explode off his barrel (exit velo = 89 mph). On the mound, Hunter has good composer and uses a compact delivery with good direction to pound the strike zone. FB ranges 75-78 with some life and SL has 10-4 shape with good break. Hunter has the skills to play at a high level and we look forward to watching his progress.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
