On the mound, Hunter works with good tempo and pitches downhill creating effective angles. He has a balanced delivery throwing with a quick arm action that extends through his release. Hunter has a controlled landing as he rotates towards home plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. He features a fastball with tailing movement at 79-82 MPH. Hunter also throws an above average curveball and deceptive changeup. In the field, Hunter plays with active footwork and covers good ground. He presents his glove and correctly works low to high with solid glove work. Hunter throws from a 3/4 arm slot with arm strength to fit the position. Offensively, Hunter has an open stance with fluid rhythm and good load. He takes a square stride and uses his lower half throughout his swing. Hunter has a short swing path consistently landing the barrel to the baseball. He has a line drive approach producing hard contact. Overall, Hunter has a bright future with a solid set of skills and potential to get better with development.
