03/20/2011 - Interactive Video Program - Austin, TX Hunter is a long, athletic OF, who also plays basketball. In the OF, Hunter has fluid footwork, he attacks the ball aggressively, and he has good body control. His hands are soft, he makes plays, and his exchange is quick and clean. Hunter has a long arm action, and he throws with accuracy and carry to his target. Offensively, Hunter has a tall stance, short stride, and good balance. He makes square contact, he gets good extension through the ball, and he has pop to the pull side. Hunter is a projectable young player and he can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
