08/17/2012 - Interactive Video Program - South Williamsport, PA Hunter is a young two way player who can hit and hit for power. On the mound, Hunter has a long/free/loose arm throwing from over-the-top arm slot, while staying in-line and balanced. He throws three pitches for strikes with a curve-ball that has 11/5 shape. At third base, he remains on target and accurate while dropping his arm slot to high 3/4. He has soft/sure hands with playable footwork. At the dish, Hunter has an athletic/square setup with fast bat speed, which allows for hard contact. After a short path getting to contact he extends well through the ball and has gap-to-gap ability with power.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
