On the mound, Hunter has a long/free/loose arm throwing from over-the-top arm slot, while staying in-line and balanced. He throws three pitches for strikes with a curve-ball that has 11/5 shape. At third base, he remains on target and accurate while dropping his arm slot to high 3/4. He has soft/sure hands with playable footwork. At the dish, Hunter has an athletic/square setup with fast bat speed, which allows for hard contact. After a short path getting to contact he extends well through the ball and has gap-to-gap ability with power.
