06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Hunter is a C prospect who will graduate in 2022. Medium frame, well-proportioned, athletic build with strength present. Primary C, who looks the part behind the dish. Efficient feet allow him to gain ground towards second and create blocking angles. Quiet actions with ability to beat ball to spot and presents nice target for pitchers to throw to. Clean transfers, with a long/loose arm action into a high 3/4 release point, who creates momentum on his throws. Arm velocity has touched 82mph with a best pop time of 1.94. Right-handed hitter, starts with a square and tall stance. Quiet actions and low effort swing with ability to hit line drives to all fields. In live game action, Hunter made consistent contact with a bat exit velocity of 87mph. With continued growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
