07/06/2018 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (Ages 12-14) Hunter is a hard working player who loves the game. At 1B, Hunter is a good target, hands and feet are playable, and he moves well around the bag. He keeps the ball in front, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy to his target. At the plate, Hunter has a square setup, okay balance, and he finds the barrel of the bat. He makes consistent contact and uses some lower body. With continued hard work and effort Hunter will be able to take his game to the next level. We look forward to seeing what next year brings Hunter as he enters 7th grade.

06/10/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Boston, MA Hunter is a young, 2-way player who plays 1B and RHP. Defensively, Hunter has raw abilities with playable hands and feet, and he makes the routine plays. He has a clean exchange and some accuracy to his target. On the mound, Hunter has a simple delivery, he keeps his eyes on target, and he lands in a square position. Offensively, Hunter has a tall set-up, he loads well, and he stands-in well balanced. He can spray to all fields and uses some lower body. Hunter can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
