09/24/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Scranton, PA Hunter is a R/R as a SS/RHP. Defensively at SS, he's aggressive on his feet as he attacks the GB. He has a clean exchange and fires his throws on-line to his target. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He fills up the zone with strikes as he delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot and finishes in line towards home plate. As a hitter, Hunter shows an athletic setup with smooth rhythm to a load. He swings on a level bat path through the zone with extension and drives pitches from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
