08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Hunter is a coachable RHP/OF prospect who made adjustments well during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. On the mound, Hunter keeps his eyes on target as he gathers over the rubber and separate his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and extends through on his release. Hunter shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 66-67mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits at 66mph with cutting action as he throws with fastball arm speed. Hunter can improve as a pitcher by striding directly towards the plate. In the field, Hunter makes the routine plays and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Hunter can improve defensively by quickening his footwork to field. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a square stride. He gets back into his load and maintains center balance. He produces fast bat speed through the zone which leads to solid pop to his pull side. Hunter can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. Overall, Hunter is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
