11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Issac is an athletic and talented 2025 LHP/1B prospect that was eager to learn all week. At 1B, Issac is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and works off the bag well. He needs to continue to improve his first step to the ball and overall range. At the plate, Issac starts in a tall and narrow stance. He loads his hands back and shows pull side power. He needs to continue to keep a quiet head, attack the inside part of the ball, and be aggressive on the fastball early in counts. Shortening his swing and keeping his head down on the ball will improve his contact rate. On the bump, Issac has a relaxed delivery, he works on top of the ball, and has run on his fastball. He needs to continue to separate on time, ride his back leg toward the plate, and pound the bottom part of the strike zone. Issac will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/08/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Fresno, CA Isaac is a tall, 2-way player with long legs. At 1st base, Isaac has active feet, he moves well laterally, and he fields in a square position. He shows good range, he makes plays, and throws with accuracy from a quick release to his target. On the mound, this LHP has good balance, he separates his hands on time, and he gets good pivot off his back foot. He has good A/S run on his FB and competes in the zone. At the plate, Isaac has an open stance, he loads well, and shows the ability to hit to all fields. He will need to work on the following in order for skills to improve.

Infield
1. Pre-pitch
2. Footwork
3. Hands
Pitching
1. Lengthen AA
2. Finish
Pitching
1. Lower body

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
