07/26/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Isaac is a big RHP/3B that graduates in 2021. On the mound Isaac shows a 3-pitch mix with a FB/CB/CH. He shows good presence with small and simple actions. He has a clean arm action as he goes back and shows +arm speed. His stride stays in line with a controlled landing. Keeping a stronger front side can help Isaac improve his command. At 3B Isaac shows athletic and active footwork with a +1st step with good range to the glove and back hand side. He fields the ball square presenting his hands well making exchanges with 2-hands. His arm action is clean as he creates momentum towards the target delivering the throw with good backspin. At the plate, Isaacs stance is slightly open with a short stride. He gets the barrel on plane with fast bat speed showing good contact to all fields. Isaac is hard working and a competitor that will continue to grow.

05/25/2019 - Accelerated College PREP - Salt Lake City, UT Isaac is a strong RHP/3B prospect who will graduate in 2021. On the mound, Isaac gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Isaac shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 73mph. Breaking ball sits from 60-64mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 69-71mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field Isaac shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He gets good extension through the ball with plus bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Isaac is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his junior season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
