  • 1B/RHPPosition Projection

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Isaiah is a 2022 1B/RHP out of Milwaukee, WI who continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities at the Pirate City Christmas Camp & Tournament. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he has an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, driving the ball to all parts of the field. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 68-71mph with cutting action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

07/12/2021 - All-In Membership - Cleveland, OH Isaiah is a 1B who will graduate in 2022. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. At 1B, he shows smooth/fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. Isaiah has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
