Jace continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed 2.30 range with on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

Jace continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.39 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hands are soft / sure and he sticks balls in the zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a crouched setup. Hands are loose and work to and through an aggressive swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

Jace is a thin catcher with good skills. Behind the plate, Jace has quick feet, athletic actions, and he sits in low and squarely. He presents his glove well, tracks to his glove, and keeps the ball in front when blocking. Jace has a clean exchange and throws with a short arm action with momentum and direction to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.4 seconds. Offensively, Jace has an athletic set-up, good balance, and a rhythmic swing. He tracks the ball well, makes consistent contact, and he can spray to all fields. Jace can continue to improve overall skills with work on the following.
