11/13/2016 - College PREP - Marlborough (Boston), MA Jack is a lean 2B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through a squared / balanced setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works inside the ball, utilizing all fields, flashing gap to gap pop. At 2B, he displays smooth, fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he works to square ball up. Glove action is soft but will benefit by presenting more out front. Hands / feet work well together and he shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, he continues to shine. Fastball showed a range of 68-72 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sink. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound. With 4 years to further develop, Jack has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game, possibly as a two-way guy.
