11/08/2012 - Baseball Factory Training & Competition in Arizona Jack is a stocky, young LHP/OF that will graduate in 2015. Currently, he projects slightly better in the OF for the next level. Feet are active as he reads balls well off the bat and takes proper routes angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work on getting behind balls more to play through and improve foot quickness to continue to improve defensive grade. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Fingar shows a balanced approach with rhythm. Hands work through a level swing path and he makes consistent contact. He needs to get his stride foot down sooner to work on time and improve hitting grade. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to load and use his lower half more. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 67 -70 mph with slight fade. Breaking ball displays sweeping action as he needs to work to stay on top of pitch to improve. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight fade. Stock on the mound will rise as more arm strength. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 3 years to further develop, Joey has abilities with time and room to improve.
