On the mound, Jack has a good set-up, solid balance over the rubber, and he separates his hands on time. He has a controlled landing, solid off-speed, and he competes in the zone. More finish and front arm extension, along with continuing to add arm strength will help mound effectiveness improve. At SS, Jack makes plays through a presentable glove and active feet. He picks out the good hops, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a consistent arm across the diamond. Added aggressiveness and range can help improve defense. Offensively, Jack has a tall stance, he loads well, and he hits line drives. He rotates his lower body well and hits the ball the other way. Work on timing and shortening his swing path will help hitting continue to improve.
