07/28/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Jack is a two way RHP/3B prospect who continues to improve on the diamond. On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot throwing a fastball, curveball, and changeup. His fastball showed good movement while sitting 77-79mph. He showed the ability to pound the strike zone and attack hitters. In the infield, Jack shows active feet attacking the baseball and fields out in front. He made all the routine plays and showed good carry on his throws across the diamond. Getting a better first step will help him get to more balls in the hole. At the plate, Jack starts from an open stance, and is direct through the zone creating quick bat speed. He consistently barreled the baseball, showing the ability to pull with some power. Jack also showed good plate awareness in his at bats. Jack is primed for a breakout senior season on the diamond.
