It's only been a few weeks since we last saw Jackie, but he again showed that he is an emerging prospect that needs to be followed closely. He improved in some areas, including posting a raw arm strength of 88 mph and running a 6.84 in the 60. His athleticism was on display in the outfield workout where he closed well on balls and showed on-line carry to his throws. He has a natural feel for attacking balls in the OF. At the plate Jackie showed his usual quick hands with lots of line drive contact. He controls the barrel well and has an aggressive overall approach - always looking to do damage. Overall, this is a talented outfielder with the frame, tools and bloodlines - not to mention he is the starting QB on the football team - that point to a high ceiling. He will not be an "under-the-radar" prospect for long.

Jackie is a young outfield prospect (2020 grad) with an exciting mix of athleticism, tools and a projectable frame. At the plate, his quick hands and compact stroke lead to lots of hard barrel contact. He's most comfortable spraying line drives from gap-to-gap at present, though there are flashes of power (90 mph exit velo) that will continue to become more frequent with maturity. His frame can handle more strength, and coupled with his good eye/hand coordination he has the look of a future run-producer in the lineup. As a defender Jackie uses his first step quickness and raw speed (6.87 in the 60) to cover lots of ground in the OF. He reads and reacts well allowing him to currently play all three outfield spots. He also jumps on the mound and can get outs with a solid 3-pitch mix, but Jackie has the look of a quality outfielder at the next level.
