10/12/2022 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic (2026) Jackson is a coachable 1B prospect who showcased his skills during the Fall Classic. In the field, Jackson fields in a strong position and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Presenting his glove to the ball sooner can help Jackson field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with comfortable hands. He gets his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and drives the ball to his pull side. Jackson can barrel up more baseballs by working on his contact points on outside pitches. Overall, Jackson is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

02/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Parker , CO Jackson is a tall, solid 1B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying solid hitting abilities through a tall setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Jackson has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
