12/28/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Jackson is a tall, lean, 2-way player who pitches and plays 2nd base. On the mound, Jackson has a good delivery, a clean arm circle, and he lands in a square position. He competes in the zone and has good direction toward the plate. At 2nd base, Jackson has active feet, he keeps the ball in front of his body, and he makes plays consistently. He has a clean exchange and a short/accurate arm to his target. Jackson did not hit at the workout. Work on the following can help Jackson get better.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
